Superb painting reproduction on canvas with aged and cracked effect, mounted on an aged wooden frame also patinated, as if this painting had been discovered while searching in an old attic, a work of art hidden out of sight and preserved preciously.

This painting represents a still life type scene "Nature-Morte au Cygne" painted by Jan Weenix (Dutch painter).

This is a still life scene showing a scene of game hunting trophies of the deer, partridge and swan type but also a game bag, a rifle and various accessories.
This painting is decorated with a trompe l'oeil a forest in the upper part, the game which is presented as a hunting trophy is presented on a promontory decorated with cherubs, a bust, garlands of laurel leaves and leaf of acanthus.

The mountains and the plain in the background on the right, which stretches as far as the eye can see, recall the path of redemption to access eternal life symbolized by the sunset.
