Immerse yourself in ancient history with this reissue of a fragment of a Cypriot funerary stele, decorated with carved symbols representing a disc and a crescent, probably dating from the Archaic period. This lunar symbol accompanied by the star was adopted by various pantheons: Hecate and Artemis among the Greeks, Diana among the Romans. Another interpretation of this combination of symbols could represent the moon and the sun.

This stone, meticulously hand-carved by our sandstone artisans, is presented on a museum-style base. The presentation base, in matte black metal, is equipped with two hooks which allow the stele to be held vertically, thus ensuring an elegant and stable presentation.
