Very beautiful nautilus (ammonite) fossilized and cut in two, mounted on a pedestal with base.
Unique piece, you can buy either by unit or both (as it is sold cut in half).
This rare fossil contains quartz inside and took millions of years to form.
In the style of the Second Empire (Napoleon III, end of the 19th century) and in the "Cabinet de Curiosités" spirit, this very beautiful nautilus fossil is highlighted with its base.
The base is in patinated steel and topped with a black metal rod.
Very beautiful decorative and original object.
