Fantastic and very large academic foot format comes from a former Parisian sculpture workshop and is stamped "Atelier Soulage & Fils, Paris 1884".
This large foot is probably the fragment of a statue of Hercules, son of Zeus, hero of extraordinary strength and whose adventures have gone through time.
This sculpture is made of solid plaster, not hollow, patinated and as if worn by time.
