Magnificent reproduction of a 19th century capital, which originally served as models for the sculptor's workshops at the Beaux-Arts in Paris.
This Corinthian capital is shown here to be attached to the wall for decorative effect and appears to have been found in archaeological digs.
It has a decor of acanthus leaves.

This architectural decorative sculpture, is finely made and patinated.
The extreme elegance and perfection of his sculptures remains an exemplary piece of Antique art of the time!
